Embellished by Caroline Cree

I have been on a fash hunt for amazingly unique flats and sandals all summer long and in my search I've come across some seriously awesome footwear companies that are now among my favorites. I recently received these "Going Platinum" sandals from Caroline Cree and instantly fell in love. (You can find them here) I absolutely adore their understated elegance. They're incredibly well made and the classically chic design lends to endless styling options. I'm obsessed with back-stories and learning all about other people's fabulous journey's to success, so of course I had to do some digging about the brand behind my ultra chic sandals. The company was founded in March of 2011 by Caroline Cree in the Lower East Side of New York. Caroline previously worked for The Gap as a footwear designer and for Coach as a handbag designer, where she helped launch the very popular Poppy collection. Now Caroline is dreaming up and creating unique embellished sandals for all of us to gush over. The fabulous footwear even travels the world during its creation, starting in New York with the design, it's then constructed in Brazil, and then embellished in Italy.
