Fash Fail: Paris Hilton

Oh, Paris. This week you are most definitely my Fash Fail. For a girl who’s last name is worth over a billion dollars she shouldn't be walking the streets of Beverly Hills sporting a dip die maxi dress. Not to mention the fact that I can’t ignore the insanely awkward too short Chanel bag she has draped across her body. There's nothing normal about that length. Toss in the sleeveless cardigan and I'm more than a little confused. It's too hard to see from the front and definitely doesn’t match. I’m a fan of Paris the reality star, but she hardly ever gets her fashion right. Call Nicole, P, so we can amp up your fashion sense stat. What are your thoughts on this outfit? Be kind. We all have our off days, lets only give positive suggestions.

  1. I actually like the dress and believe that the sleeveless cardi does match. I hate the shoes and the purse, but the dress and cardi are cute to me. Not something I would think to see her in, but who says you have to be dressed perfectly all of the time.

  3. She is always generally my fash fail! She is always very 'try hard' and matchy matchy. Though, it could be worse!

  5. You're being way too kind. Nothing about this works. The jean jacket is great suggestion but I doubt anything could help this train wreck.

  10. Each element does have to be taken on its own merits but WOW so much shiny lame gold on things that should not be that color in this outfit. Oh, Paris! She can't even pick out cars in decent colors.

  13. maybe if she took off that short bag?, she looks uncomfortable or over stuffed with layers and accessories.

  14. I mean this in the kindest way possible - that outfit looks like she was smoking crack with Suri Cruise.

    Here's what I would do:
#1 Keep the dress ONLY if it is genuinely your style-you need to be laid back boho girl to pull this off. (not loving the purple band at the bottom though-kinda ruins it for me)
#2 Thin strappy matte gold flats that wrap around the ankle to add subtle glam and take the dress out of full on hippie mode.
#3 LOSE that short boxy bag..wow..just..ok moving on - Add small flat linea pelle cross body bag w/ XL fringe.
#4 Headband has got to go - way too pretentious in this context.
#5 Layer on my shimmering gold flower and fringe necklace at http://www.kayhubin.com/ (I'm not being shameless guys- I make really cool stuff - check it)
