Fash Fave / Fail Friday

Fash Fave - Paris Hilton

Cue the gasp! Paris Hilton isn't typically someone our fashion loving society is use to seeing on a best dressed list, but considering the last time I took note of one of her ensembles it looked like this, you can see why an applause for most improved was necessary. The heiress who's been surprisingly keeping a low-pro these days, was snapped stepping out of posh eatery, Madeo looking more fabulous than ever. I'm seriously crushing on her super girly high-low maxi dress, which she appropriately belted and paired with silver and gold accessories. I have to admit, I'm not usually a head over heels fan of headbands, but this gorgeous accessory, similar to this, is beyond major. Props to P for pulling off this not so easy trend. Pleased to see Miss Hilton rocking an ensemble that's finally reflective of her rapidly growing bank account, I simply had to pick her as this week's Fash Fave. What do you think of Paris's pink on pink maxi moment?
Fash Fail - Katy Perry

Katy, Katy Katy, if this is the "part of you we're never ever gonna take away" I'm begging you to reconsider. I love Katy Perry's fun and quirky style as much as the next twenty something but when she showed up at the Kid's Choice Awards looking like a walking endorsement for a major highlighter company, I was a little disappointed. Neon's are a huge trend this season but ladies take note, this is not how to wear them. Paint your favorite neon shades onto your nails or buy the brightest bathing suit ever made but do not style yourself in a neon sports bra with matching pumps. The phenomenally beautiful singer also decided to take part in the new bare midriff trend but sadly two popular trends do not equal a Fash Fave. On the bright side, the fabulous documentary "Part of Me," hitting theaters this summer, not only looks beyond inspiring, but will surely make everyone forget this getup ever happened. What do you think Katy's neon threads?
