Carpet Fash - Awards style

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the Red Carpet Twitter Party last night. The turn out was uh-mazing and I had such a blast. I thought the show was spectacular and I'm so happy with the winners, although I do think "The Help" deserved to win every category it was nominated for... and then some.  It's so funny having a fiance in the entertainment industry. He takes it very seriously. You'd think his favorite football team was scoring a touchdown every time an award is given out. It's adorable. While he enjoys the industry politics of it all, I stick to the fashion and last night had me gushing and gasping at a slew of stunning gowns. To see my picks for Fash Fave and Fash Fail from last night's awards, be sure to stop by the fanpage throughout the day. I've got two picks for each category, one of which I'm sure I'll be receiving some backlash for. Who did you think was the best and worst dressed last night? Neither of mine are pictured above. xo

  15. My best dressed is Kate Winslet. She's a great mother and actress and I just think she always looks so classy. I don't ever feel like she's trying as hard as the others, ya know.

  16. Hands down Clare Danes for best.

  17. I agree with Sarah, Clare was my favorite as well. Madonna was my least favorite. Did anyone else think Ricky nailed it this year?

  18. "The Help" was the best movie of the year. I wish Viola had won best actress. Merly wins every year.

I hope you had a great weekend, doll.

  19. Personally I don't see what the fuss is about Angelina Jolie. I thought she looked like a Vampire's wife. There's nothing fun about her EVER. Brad needs to go back to Jennifer. At least she smiled.

PS- I was on Twitter last night! Saw your tweets ;)

PPS- your fiancee looks like Ezra Fitz from Pretty Little Liars. TOTAL compliment if you don't watch the show. Hahaha

  39. Ha, your worst of the night were possibly my two favorites! Although truth be told, I was probably just shocked to see Angelina in something other than black. She's always so painfully dull to me.

  43. I'm with you ... Charlize was s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g. I think the worst dress was a tie between the (as you called it) "painted your house before the awards show" and the "grabbed grandma's bed ruffle" dress ... aren't award shows soooo fun to watch? ;)
