Olivia Palermo is the 24 year old socialite we all loved to hate on the MTV reality series, “The City.” But I have to give credit where credit is due. Olivia has some pretty major style and an amazing eye for fashion. The fash favorite is the daughter of real estate developer Douglas Palermo and interior designer Lynn Hutchings. In 2007 Olivia was named the It-Girl of the year by New York Magazine, which landed her the cover! "I want to act, model, try it all. Designing a collection will come in time," Olivia recently revealed. Most recently, the 5’5, size 0 socialite was chosen to be the new face of Tibi’s Spring 2011 campaign. I'm obsessed with these pictures and was delighted when I found out that the City mean girl pulled the outfits and styled herself. Olivia says her future plans are to become a serious actress… although my personal opinion is that Olivia should stick to fashion… Only time will tell what her true calling is. Something Extra: Even before joining the "The City" Olivia was taking acting lessons, even commenting that she'd 'never do reality TV' because she hopes to become a serious actress. Two weeks later she signed onto MTV's "The Hills" spinoff, where she displayed some not so friendly behavior. Now, a year after "The City's" cancellation, Olivia revealed that she's currently working on her own reality show. No word yet on which network will be airing her show, but my guess is, it won't be MTV.
