Sleeping Naked With...

For those of you who have been avid readers of Fash Boulevard you may remember last year when I participated in Swisspers Sleep Naked Campaign. I know, I know, sleep, what? As a passionate and committed connoisseur of silk PJ's, I naturally felt completely unqualified at first... and obviously overdressed. It wasn't until I learned the true meaning of the campaign, that I realized it was actually promoting something I've always been extremely passionate about... The Swisspers Sleep Naked campaign urges young women to achieve a healthier skin regimen with nightly make up removal. Studies have shown that 50 percent of women do not remove their makeup daily, and of those that do, 80 percent don’t do it properly.

Swisspers has challenged reality stars, Emily Maynard from "The Bachelorette" and Danielle Jonas from E!'s "Married to Jonas", to not only remove their makeup each night, but to remove it properly. Women across the country are being invited to take the pledge to Sleep Naked with their favorite celebrity. The celebrity with the most pledges will host a virtual party on National Sleep Naked Night, where she will answer fan questions in a live video chat, and have a $5,000 donation made in her name to a charity empowering young women.

Swisspers is also calling women to visit the Sleep Naked Face-Off Page to take a pledge to Sleep Naked and adopt a beauty routine for cleaner and healthier skin. Swisspers offers a wide array of products, including rounds, cotton swabs, cotton balls, cosmetic applicators and cosmetic wedges. I use Swisspers products every day, whether it's to put my makeup on, off, or to remove my nail polish. I may not be an expert at putting my makeup on, but I've always been an advocate for taking it off. Removing your makeup before climbing into bed will not only reduce future breakouts, but slow down that nasty aging process (Bonus!).

Okay ladies, so it's time to take the pledge to Sleep Naked! Click here to pick a team!
