Fash Fix - Friday

ASOS Fall Preview
j

On Wednesday I attended the ASOS fall preview at one of LA's most fabulous destinations, Soho House West Hollywood. The event, which was held in the sky penthouse, had such unbelievably breathtaking view, it was hard to stay focused on the stunning designs. Overall, it was a blast and supplied me enough "pinch me" moments to last a whole month. I'll be sharing more pictures soon, so stay tuned.

Ashley Tisdal turned Escort & Horror actress

Ashley Tisdale looked adorable while strolling through Studio City yesterday. The HSM star is adding some serious credits to her resume these days. She'll be playing a high-priced escort on an episode of "Sons of Anarchy" as well as the lead in "Scary Movie 5." Props to A-Tis for stretching those acting chops.

McQueen opens first Miami location

The 2,300 square foot space designed by creative director Sarah Burton and David Collins Studio, is just about as fabulous as it gets. Add in the exaggerated and slightly distorted vibe, plus the fact that walls are covered in linen and silk, and basically I just found my new Miami crash pad. Thank you, Alexander McQueen.

Loving Dianna Agron

Glee's adorable Dianna Agron's modernized retro Tracy Reese for Anthropologie dress is so summer I can hardly stand it. Toss in the Miu Miu heels and I'm officially out of breath. I'll admit, I've never seen an episode of Glee, but ever since Dianna's HILARIOUS and incredibly sweet Punked episode, I've been a fan. If you haven't seen it, I urge you all to track it down.

Britney channels her inner awkward

Britney, Britney, Britney, for the love of posing... pop a hip or something. This awkward pencil pose is so many steps backwards, I can hardly look. I still  love you girl, but you gotta rock every outfit your wear! Get focused B, everyone's routing for you... well except for Demi.

YSL Kisses the "Y" Goodbye

According to WWD one of Hedi Slimane's first changes as creative director of the brand is to ditch the oh so fabulous "Y." The new name will be rolled out in a couple of months, just in time for Slimane's Spring 2013 collection. Not sure how I feel about the change.

DVF Resort 2013

You all know I'm a sucker for color and Diane von Furstenberg's Resort 2013 collection is jam packed with it. From the cape-back jackets to the flowing tuxedo pants, I'm loving Diane more than ever. You can see the whole collection here. Speaking of Furstenburg, did anyone else catch Diane on The Conversation? Could she be anymore inspiring? Obsessed.

Carrie's inner Tinker Bell
h

The always fabulous Carrie Underwood has been everywhere these days. (Did you guys see her and her hubby on Oprah a few weeks ago? So cute) I'm torn between these two looks. Do the green sequin shorts work or are we all just too amazed by the girl's insane legs to care? It's your call girls, right or left?

My latest Interview
h

I recently did an interview with the lovely ladies from The Tale of Two Buttons. Here's a snippet.

What is a typical day for you?
I work on all things Fash Boulevard about 12 to 14 hours a day, 7 days a week. I put all of my time and energy into building the Fash brand and all the side projects that come with it. Every day is different. If it's not meetings and interviews, it's attending a preview or doing a shoot. It's constantly different, which is always exciting, but the mornings are pretty much the same. I start off with an hour of responding to e-mails from fans and brands that are looking to partner. My motto is work hard and they will notice so I’ve been working non-stop and it’s such a rewarding feeling to finally see it all paying off!

Is there a trend you would love to come back in?
I remember when I was younger my mom told me flared jeans were going out of style and being the flared denim addict that I was, I instantly thought my denim days were over for the rest of my life. (dramatic teenager syndrome) Now I’m obsessed with skinny jeans but I do love whenever a fabulous pair of flared jeans pop up here and there.
