Rose Bowl Flea Market

The second Sunday of every month hungry hunters bombard the Pasadena Rose Bowl in search of great deals and neat trinkets. Ever since I moved to LA I've heard rave reviews about the Rose Bowl Flea Market and its unique treasures. The massive parking lot was filled with friendly vendors selling antiques, vintage designer apparel and handmade jewelry. Everywhere I looked there were racks upon racks of vintage dresses, jeans, and blouses, as well as thousands of shoes and intricately designed handbags. But by far my favorite part about the famous flea market was the massive selection of jewelry. I found rare stone cuffs, vibrant cocktail rings, and seriously stunning beaded necklaces that were just screaming to be added to my already overflowing collection. Shopping the flea market and talking with the unique vendors was a refreshing break from the monotonous mall retailers, but the amount of walking... well, let's just say a diet coke was needed less than ten minutes in. Above I'm wearing an Aqua knit sweater which I layered over a green Forever 21 dress. I accessorized the look with my grey Guess handbag, which I recently fell back in love with when I found it buried in my closet last week. Overall my first Rose Bowl experience was a major success, though a water bottle and moving truck are definitely a must for my next visit. Below are more pictures of my flea market adventures and the super cool things that I discovered during my fabulously fun shopping trip. What did you guys do over the weekend?
